THE CMF COLLEGE VISION
The CMFI Headquarters is surrounded by low cost housing estates and squatter settlements and recognises the importance of formal education and understands that it not only contributes to the holistic development of young people but it also provides an opportunity to raise God fearing leaders.
With a primary school already established within the vicinity, the new CMF College started with three streams of Year 9 in 2015, and in 2016 classes for Year 10 were established.
Upon completion, the new CMF College will offer classes up to Year 13 level and also include Technical Vocational Education and Training or TVET. It is designed to be a three storey building to house standard classrooms, special classrooms, a library facility, student ablution blocks, one administrative block, and a school canteen.
The special classrooms will include workshops, science labs, computer labs and the library. The number of special classrooms included in the building design reflects the commitment to mainstreaming TVET within the school curriculum and will ensure the students have access to the best facilities when building lifelong vocational skills e.g. technical drawing, woodwork, arts and music, and food technology.
The CMF College facility is expected to accommodate up to 1040 students, a portion of which will come directly from the Primary School.
